Therapeutic Benefit Management Programs:
Sterling Medical Services has developed specialized Continuous Quality Management programs to augment the efforts of the case manager and the alternate site provider and act as a clinical resource for improved patient outcomes with cost containment pricing formulas. The programs that follow are designed to assist in the management of specific patient populations that represent a significant expenditure for both products and, to a larger extent, for caregiving services.
Comprehensive Wound Management Program
Our Wound Management Program has been developed to provide a systematic, consistent, clinically supported approach to healing the wound care patient. Since with many wound care patients there are co-morbidities that require individualized attention and customized treatment, this program looks at the patient’s total condition. Through the combination of our national ET/WOCN Clinical Specialist Network and a trained team of internal Care Coordinators, the varied needs of each patient can be met with predetermined algorithms and appropriate protocols for each patient’s unique condition.
Ostomy Benefit Management ProgramTM
Our Ostomy Benefit ProgramTM is designed to provide patients with clinical support through our ET/WOCN Clinical Specialist Network to assure the quality of member care. This oversight combined with the most technologically advanced products, reduces overall costs, and increases patient satisfaction.
Continence Care Program
Our Continence Care Program combines the clinical expertise through our national ET/WOCN Clinical Specialist network with the most appropriate urological and skin care products to reduce skin breakdown and improve patient quality of life.
Diabetic Management Program

This program focuses on the diabetic patient with recurrent wound management needs. This ensures compliance to the payor’s diabetic population as well as enhanced healing , reduction of overall costs, and greater network satisfaction.
